Haiku

Haiku
by Albert Schlaht
a giant
calls out to his dog
thunder in the wind

* * *

Albert Schlaht, a native of Big Sky Country, resides in the Rocky Mountains of western Montana where he enjoys hiking, fishing, and the cool breezes that blow down mountain streams, enticing his imagination to flow freely. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Montana in 2000. His poems have appeared in Presence, Shamrock Haiku, Copperfield Review, Scifaikuest, My Light Magazine and Fear and Trembling.

What do you think is the most important aspect of a fantasy poem?

Imagination; observe the scenery in your mind, and make a sketch of it on paper so that others may see what you have seen.
